Honest answers to the things families want to know before joining.
1. How quickly are claims processed?
We settle most claims within 72 hours of receiving all required documentation. Our claims team works quickly because we know families cannot afford to wait.
2. What documentation is needed to file a claim?
You will need a certified death certificate, national ID documents for the deceased and the beneficiary, and your Comfort Circle policy reference. Our claims team will walk you through every step and let you know if anything else is required.
3. Can I include my spouse and children in my policy?
Yes. The Silver plan (Ksh 300/month) covers a couple plus up to 6 children. The Gold plan (Ksh 400/month) adds 2 biological parents to that. The Platinum plan (Ksh 500/month) extends cover to both sets of parents. Contact us if you need help choosing.
4. What payment methods do you accept?
M-Pesa is the most convenient option for most of our members. We also accept bank transfers and card payments. You can set up recurring payments to avoid missing a month.
5. Is there a waiting period before my cover begins?
For our standard plans (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum) there is no waiting period for accidental death — cover begins from day one. For natural or illness-related causes, a short qualifying period may apply; please confirm at registration. The Senior Bronze plan has a 6-month waiting period before non-accidental claims are payable.
6. What happens if I miss a payment?
We provide a grace period so a missed month does not immediately cancel your cover. If your account lapses, reinstatement is possible subject to our review. We encourage members to reach out via WhatsApp or call us before a lapse occurs — we would rather help you stay covered.
7. Who counts as a dependant under my policy?
Children covered under our household plans are typically biological or legally adopted children up to a defined age limit. If you have step-children or a non-standard family arrangement, please contact us directly so we can confirm the right plan for your situation. We will always be straightforward with you.
8. Is Comfort Circle a registered organisation in Kenya?
Yes. Comfort Circle Welfare is registered in Kenya and operates under applicable Kenyan law. We are headquartered at Jogoo Road, Magunas Supermarket Building, Opposite KCB Bank, Nairobi. For any questions about our registration or credentials, please contact us directly at info@comfortcircle.co.ke.
